GSM Voice / Data Modems   Our range of GSM Voice / Data Modems (also known as Fixed Cellular Terminal, FCT, GSM Router, Premicell or GSM gateway) connect to a stand alone telephone or analogue trunk of a PBX telephone system to enable voice calls to be made directly over the mobile phone network using a standard SIM card.  Many businesses use a GSM gateway / Fixed Cellular Terminal for cost reduction when making calls to mobile phones.  When using a GSM Gateway / Fixed cellular Terminal connected to a PBX phone system low cost and free fixed to mobile calls can be made using standard business mobile phone tariffs.    Many of our GSM gateway and Fixed Cellular Terminal products come with a serial or usb connection so that they can also be connected to a PC to act as an SMS gateway (when used with suitable SMS software) or can provide connection to the internet using GPRS so are ideal for remote / Ste offices that require an alternative to a fixed telephone line.
