A 3G Fixed Cellular Terminal will enable the use of a 3G sim card to enable calls from fixed line telephones or telephone systems.  A 3G gateway works in the same way as a standard GSM Gateway but uses a 3G GSM Engine instead of the standard 2G SIM Cards.
