Teltonika WirelessCOM is a device, designed for communication with remote devices, which have RS232 ports. It is a frequent case, when remote meters, network switches, routers or other devices need to get connected to the network, but they only have RS232 port and the only possible connection to reach them is GSM. Teltonika WirelessCOM is a ready-to-go solution for such cases.

The main features are:

• Monitor and control your remote devices, which have RS232 port, via GSM network
• The device could connect via the following GSM bearers :
  • EDGE class 6* (up to 177,6 kbps),
  • GPRS class 10* (up to 56-114 kbps),
  • HSCSD (up to 43,2 kbps),
  • CSD (up to 14,4 kbps).
• Dual-band:
  • European (and Asian) version - 900 MHz / 1800 MHz,
  • American version - 850 MHz / 1900 MHz.
• AutoPIN feature enables the user not to enter PIN code each time the device is turned on, as PIN code is stored on the device and is entered automatically.
• Integrated GSM antenna (optionally devices with an external antenna and a connector on the housing may be ordered).
• 2 LED indicators: “Power” and “GPRS status”.
• Small size. Housing dimensions (not including connectors): LxWxH 98mm x 55 mm x 20 mm.
• Supported OS: Microsoft Windows 98 / ME / 2000 / XP.
• It is worth mentioning that this device may be not suitable for very quick RS232 protocols with short time outs, however this mostly depends on your GSM operator’s speed.
